Hey Burners,

Who watched the final episode of Motorcity? I saw alot of people hype about it and can't blame them. Here's what i think of the episode:

Pretty much summon a nice finale even tho there where a few unwrap stuff that probably Titmouse was going to have on the 2nd season if there was one but still it was both amazing and satisfying.

Great moments between The Duke and how everyone from Motorcity where willing to fight against Kane and their support on Mike. The scene between Julie and Mike was nice, showing how there's more how Julie feels about Mike which you  don't see often since their relationship was more then friends but good that they didn't exaggerated much on it.

What i like about this episode was the fight between Kane and Mike, if you thought Kane was just someone who was afraid to get his hands dirty on a fight well look again, the guy has skills and no surprise since Mike has gotten his training  at Deluxe. Seems like Kane still hold a grudge on Mike, he really saw him as a son and probably thought of him to be his successor.

Speaking of feelings, we see signs of Kane actually caring for Julie that he was willing to risk everything, still feel "Ride of the Fantasy Van" kinda ruin how Kane was developing since he was a younger he was already thirst for power but that's just my opinion.

Aside of the intense action we also get a few laughs especially with the Duke, you gotta admit that even what he have done you still gotta love the guy, especially when he was driving Mutt and Mike ejects him until landing on 9 lives lol.

If anyone have seen The Pilot of Motorcity you will see that they took most of that for the final part of the episode and speaking of he final part. It was good but my personal they could have added more scenes from the Pilot, mostly the scene where Mike says his goodbyes to Mutt also adding the song they put on the pilot, a bit touching if you ask me.

I like how in the end what it seems that Mike figured out that Julie is something more Kane and i can see he was also struggling  on what to say to Julie, if he figured it out he knows that Julie shouldn't be too attach with Kane or at least make a decision on who she wants to stay, i believe Mike will respect her decision but with Kane.....if he's already mad when Mike betrayed him, think of how he feels with Julie, it will just devastate him.

This is just a nitpick but would have been nice if they had Red more at least having a final battle between Mike by trying to stop him at any cost on not getting over to Motorcity or Stop Kane's weapon also having Chuck drive for reals, i think everyone agree to that instead of going to the status quo but overall this was a great finale.

It's sad but hey, at least we have a decent ending even if there was a few unfinished things to be resolve but it could have been worst since other shows ended up in a cliffhanger and wanted to see what could have happen.

Lets hear your thoughts on the episode, come on everyone express your opinions on the final(for never know ) episode of Motorcity

All I really know is, I love this show, and I don't want to see it die, there must be something we can do. After all, we're all Burners, we never give up!

When Julie threw herself off the building . . . AH! and all the Mike/Julie!!!! Even with not knowing if they would get season 2 this was still an amazing finale! Both parts, though I love the first part better than the 2nd :)

My biggest complaint was that The Burners/Kane didn't find out about Julie's other lives and the lack of Claire (even though I didn't think I liked Claire that much...hmm...). Still, I understand that to suddenly throw out the Burners/Kane finding out in the last episode would have been very hard. I mean, that plot could take up at least a whole episode by it's own. Also, as a hardcore Jukebox shipper all those little moments were awesome. All in all an amazing conclusion to an amazing series.

Great ending. The only nitpick I had with the episode was that Julie didn't tell Mike. Sure we can pretty much assume he knows but it still wouldve been more satisfying to hear it. Shame we arent getting a second season after seeing that noteboard of some of there ideas they had it wouldve been even more epic.

I like to be more involved in the relationship of Mike and Julie, in others episodes they are very distant

It was awesome to the max, but honestly, I was expecting some hard truths to come to light, most involving Julie. No such luck, apparently...

If it truly is the end, then it was fun while it lasted. Unless they miraculously get another season, I'm really gonna miss this show...

Yeah, and I don't think there was any continuity from Like Father, Like Daughter, either.

Well, it was a few episodes before we saw Red again. She's gotta be learning the ropes from her old man or something...

I definitely agree there were some points that were rushed or had slightly awkward pacing...but I'm willing to give some slack on it since they only did have 22 minutes...
Other than that nitpick, I definitely was more than enthralled by the finale. I really hope they can pick up a second season.

I thought the series ended on a satisfying note. A couple of loose ends leaves it open to the possibility of hope for Motorcity, which I have complete and utter hope that it will in the future. A series this good and a fandom this strong cannot be ignored for long.

There were moments when things felt a little rushed but it's understandable. As always the fight scenes were just breathtaking.

I am very surprised that I wasn't a sobbing mess when the finale ended. It's probably because of that spark of hope it left with us to ponder. This series will not end as long as I wield a pencil/pen/tablet/brush in my hand.

Finally, if I wasn't already in love with Mike and he couldn't get any cooler. Hohohohohohohoho How wrong I was, how wrong I was.

haha i thought all the fight scenes were amazing and i really liked how they expressed the relationship between julie and mike...i'm interested in what will happen when mike/kane finds out about julie XD

i can't tell if i liked the ending or not, i feel like there was too many thing unexplained and i kind of want more character background information such as when and how the burners first got together and stuff :3

The finale was very awesome with everything had happen. This episode did not disappoint me or anyone I know because it was very exciting. I thought mike was going to rip red helmet off but didn't, then the fight with kane did not surprise me one bit because look at kane I knew he had to had some skills in fighting. Lastly the ending was great and how he made his car turn to a bike is very awesome and I just hope this show gets a second season.

I was disappointed we never saw who the heck Red was, who I found out recently he has the same voice actor as Cole from inFamous 2, with the whole red, electricity, and evil thing. Also, I wanted to see some more tension between Red and Tooley since Tooley seemed resentful of Kane's favoring Red over him.

Still, I liked the unification of the Motorcity gangs, and how badass they all were in the battle.

I was so surprised with the 2 parts. Both were incredibly intense and i was on edge the entire time. I could defiantly see the loose ends though but it couldn't be helped.

right now nothing would make me happier than to see a second season or a movie. A series as incredible as this needs more than just 20 episodes.

only problem i had with it was that the terras didnt show up

like, i get theyre full on bad guys, but if anyone would want to stick it to deluxe, it'd be them. besides, duke was a major villain and he turned good at the end so why couldnt the terras?
AlliedChiramii Featured By Owner Jan 7, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
i think it was a good end considering titmouse trying to keep the rights they want to continue the show so it leaves openings to do so
